68th Academy Awards – Anne Frank Remembered

Perhaps one of the most amazing instances to take place at the Oscars was when Jon Blair introduced on the stage Miep Gies, one of the women who protected Anne Frank and her family in an annex in Amsterdam. The evening’s second limelight was when “Braveheart” won the award for Best Picture Academy Award.
