Valeria Golino started her career in 1985, appearing in the movie titled Little Fires, which proved to be a phenomenal success. In 1988, she entered the world of Hollywood and appeared in the movie titled Big Top Pee-Wee. She appeared opposite Tom Cruise in Rain Man, which brought her into the limelight in Hollywood. She continued to appear in the Italian movies and achieved the status as one of the best leading ladies of the Italian Cinema.
