Top ten Lollywood movies of famous Pakistani actor: Kamal

Famous Pakistani Lollywood actor Kamal

Famous Pakistani film actor, Kamal was not only tall, fair and handsome, but also bore an eerie similarity with the famous Indian actor, Raj Kapoor. This resemblance hindered his career in India and restricted him to B-grade films. Crestfallen, he migrated to Pakistan and struck gold since his poor man’s Raj Kapoor image landed him a role in Shabab Kiranvi’s Pakistani movie Thandi Sadak (1957). The tramp-like appearance, violin-playing antics and dancing to “O meri Nargis aaja, mein baja raha hoon baja” set things in motion for the Kamal despite the presence of comic genius Zarif and the sizzling Musarrat Nazir in the film. Kamal started his career in Lollywood in roles where the hero was bungling at first, love-struck half-way through and a hero in the true sense, but he matured into a force to reckon with the passage of time. The famed actor and director, Kamal was a curb enthusiast of cinema, not only known for his versatility on screen but for his activism off-screen.
