Famous Indian actor John Abraham was a model for many ad making companies prior to acting. His debut film was Jism which was released in 2003. This film earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Best Debut Award. The film was remained successful but didn’t gain him much fame. He then appeared in the film Dhoom which was released in 2004. This film is considered as the first successful film of Abraham’s acting career. He also appeared in the successful film of 2006 named Zinda. John Abraham received two film nominations for Filmfare awards for the film Dhoom and Zinda. In Dhoom, he had played a negative role. In 2005, he appeared in Water which was a critical success and did a great business at box office.

For his performance in the film Babul which was released in 2006, Abraham got a Filmfare nomination for Best supporting actor. He also started his own production house named john Abraham Entertainment. His first film production was Vicky Donor which was a successful film. The film was released in 2012 and was critically acclaimed. He also appeared in the thriller Saaya in 2003 and Paap in 2004. He starred in the comedy film Garam Masala and the supernatural thriller named Kaal in 2005. Both these films were major success.
