Madeleine Stowe is a renowned actress of United States of America. She is known for her roles in movies like Revenge, The General’s Daughter, The Last of the Mohicans and 12 Monkeys, to name a few. She was born on 18th August, 1958 in California State.

Early Career

Madeleine Stowe started her acting career from theater, appearing at the Beverly Hills theatre play. She caught the attention of a movie agent, who brought her many TV and film offers. In 1978, she appeared n her debut TV appearance in an episode of Baretta, followed by a number of appearances in various plays and TV movies.

In 1987, she appeared in her debut feature film titled Stakeout co-starring Emilio Estevez and Richard Dreyfuss. The movie turned out to be successful and with it came many leading roles in various movies including Worth Winning, Revenge in 1989 and The Two Jakes along with Jack Nicholson.  In 1992, Madeleie Stowe appeared in Unlawful Entry co-starring Kurt Russell, followed by another leading role in The Last of the Mohicans, which grossed $75 million worldwide.

Career Highlights

In 1993, Madeleine Stowe won Golden Globe Award  in Best ensemble cast category  and National Society of Film Critics Awards in the category for best supporting actress for the movie titled Shortcuts. In 1996 she performed exceptionally in Twelve Monkeys to win Saturn Award for best actress. In addition to these, Madeleine Stowe has won American Veterans Award and Venice Film Festival award in her career
