Famous Indian Actress Babita is former star of Bollywood who made her appearance in not many films. She was born in a family of actors. Her father was Hari Shivdasani. Babita is Kareena Kapoor’s mother. She had a short acting career and soon left the field. She appeared in a total of 78 films. Her famous films include Dus Lakh in 1966, Raaz in 1967, Farz in 1967, Aulad in 1968, Haseena Maan Jayegi in 1969, Kab Kyon Aur Kahan in 1970 and many more. In the film Kal Aaj Aur Kal, she appeared opposite her husband Randhir kapoor. She starred with her future husband Randhir Kapoor in the hit film Kal Aaj Aur Kal. Babita acted in the film Haseena Maan Jayegi in 1968 opposite Shashi Kapoor who is her uncle in law. The film was the biggest box office hit film of her career. In Farz she appeared opposite Jeetendra and in Kismat she appeared opposite Vishwajeet.

Babita married Randhir in 1971 but separated due to some strains in their relationship. They remained separated for 20 years and ultimately reunited in 2007. She lives in Mumbai now with her husband and daughters. Her other daughter is Karishma Kapoor who gave birth to her first baby girl in March 2005. Her second grandchild was born in 2010.
