Benjamin Bratt is a popular American film and TV actor, known for his roles in movies like Miss Congeniality, Demolition Man, Traffic, Blood in Blood Out and Piñero. He was born on 16th December, 1963 in California, United States of America and started his career in 1987.

Early Career

Benjamin Bratt started his career from Television in 1987 and appeared in his debut movie titled Bright Angel in 1990. In 1991, he appeared in the role of Felix in One Good Cop, followed by a major role in Blood In, Blood Out. His first breakthrough performance came in 1993 movie titled Demolition Man, which brought him into the limelight.

In 1994, following the success of Demolition Man, he earned roles in Clear and Present Danger and The River Wild, which received mixed reviews. In 1996, he appeared in three movies including Follow Me Home, The Next Big Thing and The Last Producer.  Alongside movies, he appeared in a number of TV shows and series and won critical acclaim for his performance in Law and Order.

Benjamin Bratt appeared in his breakthrough role in Demolition, which displayed his true acting talent. In 2000, he earned a role in Miss Congeniality, which turned out to be a commercially successful movie. In 2001, he played the role of Miguel Piñero in the movie titled Pinero and won critical acclaim and was awarded ALMA Award for outstanding actor. In addition to that he has won 4 ALMA Awards for her TV performances.
