When a young Jeetendra Kapoor was studying BSC at Mumbai, he never thought that he would be a famous film star of Bollywood. He saw his future in his family jewelry business. It was Shantaram who offered Jeetendra walk-on parts in Navrang and Sehra, followed by his first debut ‘Geet gaya phatro ne’. But the Bollywood film ‘Farz’ in 1967 characterized by the James Bond style changed his fate. After it, Jeetendra Kapoor did many south Indian and Hyderabadi movies like Jawab, Waris, Humjoli , Himmatwala and Tohfa etc. Although Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh have caused chaos with Jeetendra’s career, he always maintains his distinction and cult status by his hitchy dance movements, his wishy-washy dialogue delivery and his boyish gesticulation. Jeetendra was befriended by many beautiful actresses but an air hostess named Shobha finally clutched him, now spending happily married life with their two kids Ekta (famous TV serial producer) and Tushar (a Bollywood actor).

I M BIG FAN OF JEETU BUT SORRY TO SAY HE NEVER GET AWARD AS I THINK HE ALMOST ACTED IN 250 FILMS AT LEAST HE SHOULD GET AWARD IN MOVIES LIKE JEENE KI RAAH, NEW DELHI,JYOTI BANE JWALA THE 1ST POWERFUL OF WHERE HE GETS THE AWARD FROM THEN CHIEF MINISTER OF ANDHARA PRADESH T.ANJIAH THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION HE DID NOT GET THE AWARD COZ MAJOR HITS AND PAYS MADE BY SOUTH INDIAN FILM REMAKE THAT R THE MAJOR PROBLEM FOR MUMBAI INDUSTRY
