Top ten Bollywood movies of famous Indian actor: Feroz Khan

Bollywood famous actor Feroze Khan

Westernized, spruce and flamboyantly macho, famous Indian actor Feroz Khan came in Bollywood at a time when heroes were moony-eyed, flaccid and 40-ish. He knew how to flex his biceps on screen. His machismo earned a broad fan-following. Feroz Khan started his career as a body-double in Bollywood films like ‘Didi’ and ‘Zamana’ in the 50s. His first film as a leading man was ‘Reporter Raju’ in 1962. He had no proper training in acting and was anxious about whether he was getting the camera angles and facial expressions right. But Feroz’s good looks soon earned the label of Killer Khan.

The urban Indian loved to watch Feroz Khan play the stud in self-directed Bollywood movies like ‘Apradh’, ‘Qurbani’ and ‘Janbaaz’ where he drove the slickest cars, romanced the most beautiful women and visited the most chic sights in the world. Feroz Khan was the first dude with an attitude. “Arzoo’ was Rajendra Kumar’s film. But it was Feroz Khan who got noticed in the Other Man’s role. Similarly in ‘Safar’, Feroz Khan walked away with an award, despite Rajesh Khanna’s author-backed role.
