Courteney Bass Cox is an American actress known for her role in the world-famous TV sitcom Friends. She was born on June 15, 1964 in Alabama, U.S and started her career in 1984, when she appeared in a music video titled “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen. Then in 1987 she was offered a role in Masters of the Universe, followed by another high profile role in Cocoon: The Return in 1988.
She, along with doing movies, continued to appear on TV, so after playing some roles in movies she appeared in a TV series titled Family Ties in 1989, followed by another movie role in Mr. Destiny (1990). She also appeared in two movies titled Ace Ventura: Pet Detective co-starring Jim Carrey and Seinfeld just before the start of TV sitcom Friends on TV.
From 1996 to 2000 she appeared in the movie Scream and its 2 sequels as well as the latest sequel titled Scream 4, released in April, 2011. She also got roles in movies The Runner, 3000 Miles to Graceland, The Shrink Is In and in Zoom. Her TV appearances include As the World Turns, Misfits of Science, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Saturday Night Live, Dirt, Scrubs, as well as Cougar Town.
