Bollywood stars to attend opening ceremony of cricket’s Indian Premier League

The opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League of cricket is set to take place at YMCA College of Physical Education in Chennai, on 3rd April. You may be asking, what does that have to do with movies? Well, Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan are going to be part of the ceremony, which means that it should definitely be a good one to watch. This information has come from an IPL release, and is exciting news for many people, who will both be looking forward to seeing the stars, and to welcoming the start of the sporting tournament.

This event will be great for those who usually follow the IPL, but are also interested in Bollywood movies. Even if it is just to watch one after playing a game of FoxyBingo or before dinner, Bollywood movies are usually very entertaining. So to have two stars of the film genre taking part in the opening ceremony of the IPL, will be very exciting. Bollywood news: Famous Bollywood actress Kareena’s wax statue displayed for Madame Tussauds!

Popular Indian actress Kareena Kapoor is on seventh heaven after the release of her two blockbusters Bollywood movies Bodyguard and RA.One. The reason is primarily her wax statue that has been made for her, life-sized, making her join the rare league of Indian actors and actresses whose statues have been made and displayed at Madame Tussauds, London museum. The wax statue was unveiled on Thursday in the museum of Madame Tussauds.

The statue, almost the same as her is signifying her look in the famous Bollywood movie Jab We Met showing her in black dress. The statue made up of wax took around four months to complete and is worth 150,000 pounds. Kareena is very excited about her statue and admires it very much! Although Saif could not accompany her in the open ceremony of the statue display yet Kareena’s mother joined her which made Kareena very happy.

When asked about her recent release. RA.One, Kareena said she was very happy as it seemed to be a double treat for her! However, when she had been questioned about the compassion of her two latest releases, Bodyguard and RA.One, she could not come up with a clear answer. She considered both her movies equal and could not compare them. 

Now as the Bollywood movie RA.One with so much pomp and show has finally been released with the festival of Diwali celebrated in India, it has received huge welcoming responses from audiences and movie critics. The plot of the movie revolves around a science fiction character that is rarely found in Bollywood cinema. The movie circles around the story of a father and child who wants to make a virtual game consisting of a superhero character. Ironically, the game created by the father played by Shahrukh Khan gets out of their control and the character gets out of the game into the real world and that is where the movie takes lots of twists and turns!
