Jennifer Tilly is a Canadian actress, born in California, United States of America on 16th September, 1958.  She is a professional Poker player and has won bracelet in Ladies’ event of the World Series Poker. She is known for her roles in movies like Liar Liar, The Cat’s Meow and Seed of Chucky.

Early Career

Jennifer Tilly started her career in 1983 with minor roles in TV movies and shows. She appeared in Hill Street Blues and played a minor role in the 4th season of Cheers. In 1984 she appeared in her first film titled No Small Affair followed by another role in Moving Violations in 1985.

In 1988 she played roles in 4 movies including Johnny Be Good, Remote Control, Rented Lips and High Spirits. In 1989 she got roles in successful movies of the year like The Fabulous Baker Boys and Let it Ride. In 1990s she appeared in significant roles in Made in America, Embrace of the Vampire, The Getaway, House Arrest and Bound.  In 1997, she appeared in an important role in the commercially hit movie Liar Liar co starring Jim Carrey.

Career Highlights

Jennifer Tilly won Gemini Award in best actress category for her performance in Heads followed by Fanta Festival Best actress award for her impressive performance in the Horror movie titled Seed of Chucky. She has also won Fantasporto International Fantasy Film Award Best Actress for her role of Violet in 1996 movie titled Bound.
