Jennifer Love Hewitt is an American actress, she is also known as a producer, a former singer as well as songwriter and last but not the least as a television director. Born on February 21, 1979 she started her acting career as a child star in 1989, appearing in various TV commercials and then in Disney Channel series titled Kids Incorporated.

She also appeared in many TV series and shows like Shaky Ground, The Byrds of Paradise, McKenna, and Party of Five during the years 1992-1995. Before getting a lead role in I Know What You Did Last Summer, she did many roles in movies like Munchie (1992) and Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993). But her real claim to fame was the Horror movie of 1997 titled I Know What You Did Last Summer, which grossed $125,000,000 US dollars.

Riding on the success of the first part of I Know What You Did Last Summer, its sequel titled I Still Know What You Did Last Summer was released in 1998 and Jennifer Love Hewitt again had a lead role in, though the movie could not match the success of its earlier part but was nonetheless successful.

As a singer she produced the soundtracks of various movies including House Arrest in 1996, Trojan War in 1997, Can’t Hardly Wait, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer in 1998 and Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders to name a few. As a film producer and director she appears in the credits in TV Series including Ghost Whisperer (2009), If Only (2004) and The Lost Valentine (2011).
