After Sudhir and Ejaz, Habib-ur-Rehman (Screen Name Habib) was the most successful film actor of Pakistani film history. Pakistani Actor Habib was one of the first few highly educated actors from Lollywood. He started his film career 56 years ago in 1956 and is still in this business as a supporting actor. He is a golden jubilee actor and his acting has made him versatile in Lollywood. In the history by Pakistani cinema, Habib was the first actor who completed 100 films landmark. He was the top film actor in 1960s and remained on the top for many years.

His first Urdu film was Lakht-e-Jiggar in 1956 which was directed by Luqman. In this film he played a role of brother of Madam Noor Jehan, the heroine of the film. He got breakthrough in 1958 through the film Admi. His othethit urdu films include Ayaz, Speran, Mehtab, Aashiyana and many more. In total he did 89 Urdu films. Rests were Punjabi films. Habib’s first Punjabi film named Shera wasn’t successful and later in 1963 Mouj Mela became a great musical hit film. He acted in the first platinum jubilee film Jeedar in 1965. It was his third Punjabi film. Hi did many Punjabi films after that and many of them were flop, too. His film Dil Da Jani was a box office hit.
