4th-13th British Academy Film Awards – BAFTA Awards 1950-1959: Flourishing With Time!

In 1952 categories of British Actor, British Actress, Most Promising Newcomer to Film, Foreign Actor and Foreign Actress were added to awards. In 1953 ‘Certificates of Merit’ were given to ‘A Queen Is Crowned’, ‘The Conquest of Everest’ and ‘Elizabeth Is Queen’. In 1954, British Screenplay and Animated Film categories and in 1959, the category for Short Film was added. Thus, the BAFTAs got on the way to advancement with time!
