British Academy Film Awards are commonly known as BAFTAs. In 2015, 68th edition of BAFTAs will take place. The nominations were announced by 10 times host Stephen Fry on January 9th, 2015. BAFTAs are film awards offered by British Academy of Film and Television arts. For BAFTAs movies from all parts of the world are considered provided that those movies were screened in the UK during the year. This year’s BAFTAs were held on February 8th 2015. A few years back, BAFTAs usually took place after Academy Awards. From last 5 years however, BAFTAs are announced earlier. Nominations of BAFTA 2015 are very interesting this year, considering the fact that a huge number of great performances in movies from Hollywood platform this year were by British Actors.
