Rafi Khawar, the famous Lollywood comedy actor was more popularly known as Nanna. He was a renowned comedian actor of Pakistani TV serials and films. His first film Watan Ka Sipahi was an Urdu film which was released in 1966. This film marks the starting of the career of Rafi Khawer as a film actor. In 1975, his film Noukar was a breakthrough and got him much fame. Another of his film named Tehka Pehlwan was released in 1979. He was the hero of this film. In the same year, his film Dubai Chalo was a box office hit. He was commonly seen along with Ali Ejaz and their couple was famous since Insaniyat in 1967.         

Rafi Khawar was an outstanding actor and had an exceptional talent for comedy. His acting in the famous TV show Alif Noon is still admired by many people. And for years he remained to be known by this show. The show had three seasons spanning from 70s to 80s. Rafi was loved and admired by all. He was a respected and appreciated public figure of his era. Rafi ruled the industry for many years and kept making people amused by his humorous plays and films. Rafi’s death left many in tears. He didn’t die a natural death rather committed suicide by shotting himself in head. Rafi had won two Nigar Awards in comedy.
