10 best movies of famous Hollywood actor: Hugh Michael Jackman

Famous and hottest Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman

Hugh Michael Jackman was born on October 12, 1968 in Sydney, in New South Wales, Australia. While he is certainly best known for his action/adventure roles and for his masculine good looks, he possesses a truly rare gift in a male lead that has earned the word “star”. He can actually act, and rather well. Professionally trained in all sorts of theater (including musicals, romantic leads and comedic roles) he is deceptively easy to write off as “just another action hero”.

Versatility, good looks and the ability to mold himself to fit the part are strengths all actors and actresses spend time and effort developing. It is obvious that Jackman is adept in all three areas and lacks only the opportunity to broaden his scope by finding appropriate roles in a wider range of film genre.

Like so many male stars that get the sex symbol and macho-action-hero tags attached to their names, Jackman will probably have to work very hard to win a larger audience for his more serious work.

Hugh Jackman’s only serious award, as of this writing, came in 1999 when he earned the Film Critics Circle of Australia Award for Best Actor for his role in the film, Erskineville Kings. He has received numerous nominations for other awards, and was a serious contender for the 2001 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his work in the film, Kate & Leopold.
